I’m Zoran Zhou, working at the intersection of network security, software development and data. I’m currently studying Applied Data Science at the Education University of Hong Kong, while documenting the technical and everyday questions that keep me curious.
I sit at the intersection of networks, security, software and data. They are not separate skill tracks so much as different ways I understand problems, test ideas and make complicated things clearer.
My earlier work gave me a grounding in infrastructure and security operations. My current studies are taking me further into data science, AI and the fuller process of building software.

Managed endpoint security and supported server protection. Coordinated security upgrades with production, IT and maintenance teams, worked with international colleagues and supported security audits while maintaining production continuity.

I’m bringing the problem-solving habits of security operations into data science, using Python to explore network traffic, anomaly detection and practical applications of AI. I’m also learning TypeScript and building a stronger foundation in software development.
